Viva Las Vegas

I went a road trippin' last weekend to see the Las Vegas Bowl (that's the Pioneer Pure Vision Las Vegas Bowl for you sponsors out there). RH, BG, NG, and I went cruisin' down in the mini-van. What a way to roll into Vegas. With some time to spare we hit the strip. This proved costly as the traffic on Tropicana Ave was brutal. What a stadium. One road in, one road out of Sam Boyd stadium. Very efficient.
The seats played out like a typical BYU game. An over expressive fan on the left, a cute date night couple on the right, and ladies who have no idea what was going on behind us. Not to mention the dude shouting "rip his head off" somewhere in the back. Unlike a typical Vegas trip, it was freeezing! thanks to a Rebel Dog and a cup of Hot Chocolate I was able to sustain a descent body temperature at least through the first half.
Although the game was low scoring there were some definate highlights. Of course nothing beats a blocked kick to win the game and our storming of the field (that took about 15 minutes to actually happen). Of course RH and I didn't make out like NG but we had our moment on the field.
What an awesome trip. Top it off with some Mexican food and the obligatory Vegas Buffet and it was a definate success. Thanks to RH for making it all happen.
